The institute is located at Kumbhari village, on the Solapur-Akkalkot highway, and is sprawled across nearly 32 acres of lush green grounds. It has excellent train, road, and aviation connections. The administrative, teaching/training, hospital, and hostel facilities are housed in many buildings on campus. The attached teaching hospital of the Medical College provides secondary and tertiary health care to the rural and urban populations of the Solapur district and bordering areas of the neighbouring states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. It is also a boon to highway accident victims, as it has a well-equipped Trauma Centre, ICU, and CT and MRI scanning facilities. The institute is recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC) and affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.

Objectives of the ARMCH
These objectives have been formulated with the present health scenario in mind taking the regulations of the Medical Council of India and the University Of Health Sciences Of Maharashtra into account.
